About Sarah

Sarah Gibson, Student Intern

Meeting you where you are, from one millennial to another.

As a millennial, I have experienced the ups and downs of navigating relationships in a modern world where texting, social media and dating apps have become the norm. After I graduated from college, I moved to Washington D.C with no job, knowing only two people. Talk about unchartered territory!

I had to discover who I was and what I wanted in this new stage of my life. I find that many millennials can relate to the experience of “finding yourself”, and as a counselor in training, I am honored to walk alongside clients during this pivotal time.

I am passionate about working with individuals and couples, helping clients achieve their goals while offering hope and encouragement.

Ready to tie the knot?

Congrats to you! I’m a certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator and am excited to offer our 8 session premarital package for couples at the reduced rate of $650. This is a true investment in your relationship that you won’t want to pass up.

Creating the blueprint for your relationship as you embark on marriage is one of the best things you can do, and I am so excited to offer this service to couples in the Dallas area.

I also enjoy working with individuals who are trying to heal, discover, or process their spiritual identity. While millennials are generally less religious than previous generations, studies show that spirituality remains important. This may be a confusing area of your life, or one that you’d like to begin exploring again (or for the first time!). Maybe you’re newly engaged and religion or spirituality hasn’t been a cornerstone of your relationship, but it feels like something you’d like to talk about. Wherever you are with this dynamic in your life, my goal is to give you a safe and non-judgmental space to talk it all out. Even in the counseling world, this topic can be a little taboo to bring up! So please know that I won’t be pushing an agenda on you, and will help guide you on the path you want to explore.

Currently, I am a third year graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS). Before attending DTS, I earned my bachelor's and a master's degree from Texas A&M University.

I’m excited for an opportunity to work with you, and look forward to scheduling our first appointment soon!
